Control Systems, Inc. (PCS) enables dealers and integrators
to make more profit in less time everyday. Our low return
rate testifies to the satisfaction of our customers. That
is why we can go the extra mile and offer this Money Back
Guarantee.
Purchase and install a
GreenWorx Generation II Lighting System, if you and your
customer are not satisfied you may be eligible for our guarantee.
GreenWorx 1-Year Money Back Guarantee Terms and Conditions
The Guarantee applies only to the Installer,
not the end-user, and is non-transferable. The Guarantee does
not include the cost of installation or removal of the GreenWorx
product from the residence or the cost of shipping. We assume
no responsibility for any labor or freight costs either in
connection with or separate from any installation or removal.
It covers only the cost of the PCS GreenWorx products returned.
To be eligible for the Guarantee, each of
the following conditions must be met:
a. The Installer
of the system must be a Certified GreenWorx Dealer/Integrator
i.e. a person that has attended and passed approved GreenWorx
Certified Training courses.
b. The eligible
products must have been purchased from an Authorized Distributor
or PCS directly and must be accompanied with proof of purchase.
c. The Guarantee
applies only to PCS GreenWorx Generation II systems and products
and does not apply to any third party products that are supplied
by one of PCS' Licensees, partners or other affiliates.
PCS does not make any representations or warranties on behalf
of such third parties.
d. The product
must have been purchased after October 15, 2007. The Guarantee
does not apply to products purchased prior to this date.
e. The product
must have firmware version 5.0 or higher (Generation II).
f. The request
for refund must be made within one year from Date of Purchase
on the receipt. The receipt or a copy of the receipt must
be presented at time of request for a refund.
g. The eligible
product must have been installed in a single (split) phase
electrical system. Three-phase electrical systems are
excluded from this Money Back Guarantee.
h. The residence
must not be larger than a 15,000 square feet area and the
electrical wiring topology must not exceed a total of 6 electrical
distribution panels.
i. The Certified
GreenWorx Dealer/Integrator must have tried to solve any
issues by first contacting PCS Technical Support and properly
installing at least one Split-Phase Repeater (SPR) in the
residence.
j. The Certified
GreenWorx Dealer/Integrator must work directly with PCS Technical
Support/ Engineering to attempt to solve any reliability
issues and provide PCS with system layout information and
communications test results.
k. The system must
be installed in the United States or Canada.
If PCS’ Engineers cannot rectify the communication
issues, PCS will refund the cost of GreenWorx devices to the
Certified GreenWorx Dealer/Integrator at the price that the
Certified GreenWorx Dealer/Integrator paid for said items,
plus tax, if applicable.
DISCLAIMER
Our Money back Guarantee does not cover failures
which result from accidents, mishandling, misapplication, alteration,
faulty installation, set-up adjustment of consumer controls,
improper maintenance, Powerline surge, lightning damage, modification,
introduction of liquids or humidity, commercial use, damages
determined by PCS to have been caused by the customer, war,
or damage that is attributable to acts of God.
Under no circumstances is Powerline Control
Systems, Inc. liable or responsible for any damages that might
occur from the use or misuse of any of our products sold, or
supplied, to any individual under any conditions, including
(but not limited to) the following:
- Any economic consequential, or incidental, damages including
lost profit or income, lost time or labor, or lost data.
- Loss of, or damage of any type of hardware/equipment,
or data
- any claims against you for damages from a third party
- Any type of personal injury
Powerline Control Systems, Inc advises that
all installations or removals of (as well as any modifications,
adjustments, or upgrades to) our products, be made only by
a Certified Dealer/Integrator.
Powerline Control Systems, Inc. shall,
at its sole discretion, determine whether all requirements
for the Guarantee have been satisfied and may terminate or
modify the Guarantee Program on a prospective basis at any
time. The act of submitting a refund request does not ensure
that a refund will be issued.
The State of California, Los Angeles County,
maintains governing power over this agreement. Customer acknowledges
that California courts have jurisdiction over this agreement
and that any and all disputes that arise shall be settled in
Los Angeles County, California.
1-YEAR MONEY BACK GUARANTEE CLAIM PROCEDURE
Individuals who believe that they meet the Guarantee
Terms and Conditions may request a refund by following the
process described below. Refunds will be granted only if all
of the instructions below are followed.
a. Obtain a Refund Request
Form from your PCS Representative.
b. Complete and sign
the Refund Request Form and return it to Powerline Control
Systems, Inc.
- Refund requests must be sent via postal mail to Powerline
Control System, Inc., Attn: Money Back Guarantee, 19201
Parthenia Street Suite J, Northridge, CA 91324. No requests
via e-mail or fax will be accepted.
- The refund request must include a copy of the purchase
receipt(s) or invoice(s) for all of the GreenWorx components
to be returned. If your order included a discount for
order amount, then this discount will be deducted from
your refund amount.
- Incomplete or unsigned Refund Request Forms will not
be accepted.
c. Once the Refund Request
Form has been processed, PCS will issue an RMA for the products
to be
returned to PCS.
d. Return the GreenWorx
products to PCS.
- All returns are to be sent to PCS PREPAID.
If the returned merchandise is sent COD, it will be refused
by our Receiving Department and will only delay the handling
of your return and cause additional expense to you.
- The customer is responsible for freight charges to return
the defective product to us via an insured and trackable
carrier (such as UPS or Fed Ex).
- Pack merchandise carefully to prevent damage.
- Enclose a copy of the RMA Form along with your packing
slip.
- The RMA# must be marked clearly on the outside of the
box.
- PCS will not refund any product that has been
tampered with, modified or damaged. All returned items
will be inspected by PCS and must pass inspection to be
considered for the Refund.
e. Please allow 3-4 weeks for
processing of refund payment once items are received at PCS.
f. A check will be issued
to the Purchaser.
