Many lighting control systems provide only Circuit-Level control
– an entire circuit (string) of light fixtures is controlled
(on or off) as a single unit. For most energy savings situations
– like Daylight Harvesting, Time-of-Use, and Zoned Control
– this is simply not good enough. To gain maximum benefits
you need to control exactly the fixtures you want without regard
for how they may have been circuited.
Fixture-Level control is the next step up in being able to
fine tune the lighting control system. There are systems on
the market today that provide this type of control but they
require a messy new set of wires and control modules to be
added to each fixture. This is expensive and not very conducive
to retrofit. GreenWorx not only provides Fixture-Level control
but it also offers Ballast-Level control – each ballast of
every fixture can be individually controlled – giving it the
finest level of control available. Best of all, GreenWorx does
not require any new wires to be strung throughout the building.
No New Wires
You already have electrical wires providing power to each light
fixture. Why go through the expense and hassle to add even
more wires for lighting control? With GreenWorx you don’t have
to!
GreenWorx utilizes the same power wires that already exist
to send control signals to each light fixture. Simply install
Fixture Control Modules in each light fixture and the System
Controller at the circuit breaker panel and you’re ready to
go. Add keypads and photo-sensors to the system just as easily
– just hook them to the existing power wires.
